Thanks in advance for any help.
I haven't cooked meat much in the past and whenever I have, I've made sure it's eaten that day or binned. For some reason I was under the impression that it's dangerous to eat meat 24+ hrs after cooking.
But I cooked too big of a patch of meat (beef mince) on Monday and it's still in the fridge - is it safe to eat today? I googled it and it says it lasts up to 3-4 days - is this really true?!?
I vaguely recall getting food poisoning in my early twenties when I ate a 24 hr old spaghetti bolognese so after that I stopped storing cooked meat in the fridge...
...and turned vegetarian for best part of a decade
