Enlarged glands

My 2.5yr dd has enlarged glands in her neck. She is in good spirits. What might it be. She has a slightly raise temp.

Any clues as we wanted to go out to play at a group.

mumps? has she had her MMR?

Maybe she is just under the weather?

I thought mumps. Yes she has had MMR but does that mean she can still get it?

Hi Beabea, i have an enlarged gland in my neck at the moment (on one side).

In all probability, its just a sign that she has been exposed to viral infection lately. There are so many nasty bugs going around at the moment.

I have been ill with flu so reckon thats why mine is enarged.

If you are worried, see your gp for reassurance.

Thanks yes we have all had various viruses over the last 2 weeks. Was planing a trip to gp tonight just in case.
