Ok, here goes;

Since having ds1 about just over 3yrs ago I have had a problem with my fango about 5 times.

Every now and then a small area of either inner or outer lips becomes intensely sore and irritated.
It seems to be mostly when I am tired and worn out.

This time I managed to get a look at the sore area, it looks weepy and red, the area is about 1p sized and looks like broken skin.

It usually goes away after about 5 days, and then I forget about it.
It isn't any one particular place or size, but just one small area at a time.

Ok- the question is- is this herpes?
And how did I get it?

Or is it thrush?

Think that's how I got it too jules. Steady DP - first sexual partner in fact. I reckon I had cold sore - we snogged - he went south - hey presto. Nothing to be ashamed about there - just unlucky as you say.

i have had similar - possibly - and GP said thrush, or at least didnt know. makes me wonder now.
