What's this weird stuff on my fingers? (Pic included but not tmi!)

Every now and then I get this on my fingers. It doesn't hurt but after a while the skin starts to peel. Is it pompholyx?

I get that in summer, little watery blisters, that pop and the skin peels?

My dr told me it was pompholyx yes.

Did your doc say what might cause it?

I get this too. Mine is caused by not wearing gloves when washing up or cleaning. When it flares up I use Epaderm ointment to wash my hands and if it's really bad I have steroid cream which clears it up quickly.
