Not a clue but I'm bumping for you. Hope you find some good advice

bump

I've never heard of this either. Are you breast-feeding? I'm sure I remember my sister saying that her DD had a slight vaginal bleed as a new-born and it was due to hormones transfering in her breastmilk. Could it be something similar?

Could you try and see a different GP at your practice?

Ceolas · 20/02/2007 20:47

Are you breastfeeding him? I seem to remember something about the hormones in breastmilk...

Stiller · 20/02/2007 20:54

Great minds Coelas...

and...

bump!

Charleesunnysunsun · 21/02/2007 09:09

Yes he is breastfed.

I heard something about it from hormones in Newborns but he didn't have it as a newborn and he is 4 months old now!

It wasn't our usual G.P it was a stand in do you think i would look silly to take him back to our normal GP when he comes back next week?

I also foung a load of dried blood in his ear this morning it must have come from last night as he was bathed yesterday evening, im not sure if he has scratched himself or something else.

Im soooooo parinoid at the moment what with all thats going on with DS1!

any dishcarge or blood coming out of somewhere it should not is not normal IMHO

i would see your regular doc ASAP

Belgianchocolatesmama · 21/02/2007 23:03

I second that lulumama.
I don't think you're being paranoid. Anyone would be worried if their lo had blood and puss coming from nipples
Get a second opinion from another GP.
