I was catheterised after having dd2 6 months ago and got an antibiotic resistant uti called an ESBL infection. I had to have IV gentamicin followed by a course of pivmecillinum hydro chloride. It was horrible! But thankfully I recovered.
Now I think I've got a uti again I'm terrified that it's the same kind of bug. Got doctors today, just wondering if anyone else has any experience with these kind of infections. I'm so worried, really don't want to be in hospital over Christmas!!
