I gave birth 6 months ago. Period returned around the 8ish week mark. At which point I started back on cerelle for contraception.
However my periods are really different now. I've had a few since giving birth and the blood always seems to be much more mucusy than before. Almost like it's mixed in with a lot of discharge. And in the lead up I get quite stringy brown discharge.
Prior to pregnancy (and cerelle) my periods were the bog standard heavy lots of clots type affair.
Is it normal to have such different periods after pregnancy?
