Illness during pregnancy - Is there any point getting tested for things like CMV?

I should be almost 10 weeks pregnant with my second child. My DS, 21 months has been poorly this week and I have been really quite ill for the last two days. I went to bed with a sore throut, aching joints, shivering skin etc and am only feeling vaguely human again now.

I never had an illness like this in my first pregnancy and as I didn't have much contact with children so had no cause to worry about pregnancy dangerous infections like fith disease and CMV. This time around, I am always having slobbery fingers poked in my mouth, kisses, sneezes in my face, sharing cups because DS likes to have a sip of my drink etc

Didn't really worry about it, but now that I've been so ill, what if it was CMV or something like that. Is it worth checking out?
