I have my smear. I'm 30 and have had more torches signed up my fanjo than most people have had hot dinners.
I hate smears - i'be had quite a few treatments for abnormal cells and I am almost embarrassed to say, I feel so nervous and sick.

I have mine later this morning.

Just relax - I find that if I concentrate in my mind on slow relaxed breathing and my "happy place" (a specific rock looking out to sea on an evening sunset colouring the clouds with wonderful colour or else my Granny's garden growing up, lying on the lawn looking up at the apple tree) - that helps a lot to relax and let them get on with it.

Good luck.

Thank you.
I feel so much better now it's done, was considering cancelling whilst even waiting.
I hope yours goes as gently as possible.
I'm off home to get a hot water bottle and a coffee before work Smile
