Just to let you know, if the worst comes to the worst and your baby starts to lose weight, there is a solution out there. SMA do a high energy formula available on prescription for babies who aren't thriving as they should. My 7 month old son had dropped off the bottom of his weight chart before anyone suggested this. I still give him one breastfeed per day (I couldn't bear to drop it completely!) but this high energy formula has been fantastic. He has gained almost a pound in two weeks, despite throwing up almost every feed. I know it's not ideal, but just to see him clambering back on to the weight chart makes it all worthwhile!
