I am a little concerned with my monthly cycle.
I came off the contraceptive pill after 5 months of use in July and ever since my periods have been really unpredictable. They have been late anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. Up until October (estimated arrival 12th) I still haven't had it.
I am really beginning to worry- I have looked online and can't seem to think why this would be the case. I am far from meno age so it's not that! I have also done multiple pregnancy tests which have all come back negative.
I have recently had a smear test which came back no hpv detected but several abnormalities , but because I was low risk no further action was necessary. (Not sure whether that is relevant)
I have also looked at symptoms of polysistic ovaries, other than weight gain and dodgey periods, I have no other symptoms.
I feel like it's a massive burden atm, I am worrying it is something serious and it is affecting my mood.
I have booked a doctors appointment which is in 2 weeks time
Does anyone know what it could be, or have they had anything similar happen to them?
