I posted about retention a few weeks ago and went to see my go who was lovely. She listened to my concerns and did a swab and physical examination and arranged for me to have a scan.
Swab test came back with thrush which I got a pessary and cream for but even after nearly two weeks, I'm not convinced it's all gone. I still have a bit of (TMI alert) staining on my pants but I can't tell whether it's just normal discharge or thrush still. What else can I try if the pessary didn't work? I've tried
before but that seem to make it worse.
The scan came back
With no signs of tumours or cysts and I have made an appointment with the go to discuss this which will be next Friday ☹️.
In the mean time, I'm worried about possible moderate bladder prolapse as the cause of not emptying my bladder completely.
