Norovirus - when is ok to eat again?

Been struck down with norovirus, can't bear the thought of eating but want tips on what to start with that others have found manageable. I can't face bread or potatoes as that's what I ate yesterday before it started. Spoken to NHS direct and they've advised bland foods, will try tomorrow. Hopefully won't feel so ill then

Rice? Maybe some probiotic plain yoghurt
Mine lasted three days and on the fourth day I got flu HmmAngry so it was 2-3 weeks before I felt more normal

It was only when the stomach pain subsided that I felt able to eat anything at all. I would drink lukewarm water and sip it, try to keep as hydrated as possible.

I would stick with water and dioralyte, keeping hydrated properly is the key, or you'll just get that awful dehydration headache on top of feeling already awful. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks everyone, I've had crackers today. Tried soup but instantly felt nauseous when I tried to eat it. Managing to get water down thankfully, had the dehydration headache yesterday
