Burning pain in breast when to worry!

That's that really. I have had a thorough breast scan in August and all was well but to be checked reg (because of familiarity and fibromas (sp?))

I have now this burning pain on my right breast. No lumps but clearly a painful spot when I press.

I Have routine mammogram just after xmas and a follow up apt with the consultant in jan.

I know no one can really diagnose me online, that's not what I want, but in your experience Will it be ok to wait till then? Am always confused between overeacting and downplaying...

Tia
