Pompholyx on feet making me scratch them until they bleed - anything at all that can help?

Hi all

I've had this on my hands and feet for 18 months. It's driving me crazy. I've tried:

Steroid cream
B-balm cream
Canesten
Lamisil
Daktarin
Alveeno shower gel and moisturiser
Changed laundry liquid

I've given up alcohol (3rd week in)

It's worse than ever. I actually trod on a bloody pencil yesterday and got a lead stuck in there yesterday. It's particularly bad on my left foot.

It's like a hot itchy hell. Any suggestions please?

I'll try anything. FYI I'm married to a pharmacist and he's all out of ideas. Ive just attempted a photo but it doesn't really show anything.

Anyone?

Dermovate Capilar. It is a liquid which I believe is intended for use on the scalp. However, my GP told me he uses it himself and prescribed it to me for pompholyx, and it is brilliant...

Reduce stress?! Mine only went when I cut my hours...

I have this on my hands. It started in 2001 and I hate it !
I've tried hc45, eumovate, betnovate and cetraben also dermol 500 for washing.
Nothing gets rids of it completely but if my hands are well moisturised all the time and I apply steroid cream it keeps it under control

Betnovate had limited success for me but I still use it during a flare up.

The only thing that works is reduced stress which of course you can't control that easily.

The good news is that flare ups are lessening as I'm getting older. Halved since my twenties. (Mind you, my twenties were very stressful so that could be it rather than age, I don't know)

I don't think it's stress related. Although I'm about to start full time again on Monday, so I'll hope it's not related!

I've just put some dermol lotion on and sitting with my feet up letting it soak in. It feels quite nice.

DH has just said dermovate is prescription only.

It's horrible. Mine pretty much started when I met my ex and ended when I left him. Neat tea tree oil helped me.

Oh I could definitely do neat tea tree oil. Just dab it on or soak?

I just put on a few drops neat after showering and rubbed it in. Soaking would be good when they are sore/broken. If I popped a big blister (sorry) I would put a drop on a plaster and cover it. Hope it helps a bit. I used it every day for a couple of years.
