terrible pain mid cycle

i have always had ovulation pains but not while on the pill. since having DS (8m) i've had really awful pain for about 24h mid cycle. every month it seems to hurt more and it is so so much worse than ovulation pains ever were. i had them last night and i was very close to asking DP to take me to A&E. i'm just wondering why i would have such bad pains.

I have pretty serious ovulation pains- not atm thank goodness as I'm pregnant. It can be crippling and for 24hrs I don't eat/want to sit in a warm bath all day. I find ovulation more painful that actual period pains.

However, if you are concerned I would see a GP in case there is a reason/remedy for it being so painful. I checked and I think I'm just doomed to suffer painful ovulation!

i'm on the pill though and i thought that stopped ovulation so why would i have ovulation pains?

and poor you! the ovulation pains actually helped with conceiving DS.
