Nail clubbing...anyone had this? If so, what caused it?!

Been to the docs (again) and I definitely have nail clubbing on my fingers...he's referred me for further tests but didn't seem sure about what would be causing it. If anyone has had this/currently has this and wouldn't mind sharing the cause I'd be very grateful! Tia

I haven't had it and I'm not any kind of health professional, but I believe it can be associated with some diseases of the lungs and/or heart, which alter the blood supply to the fingers or toes.

Thanks, yeah they are the only causes I've heard of...hoping that isn't the case though!

Some people always have it. Runs in families. Is yours def new?

Yeah def something new for me...no one in my family has it either. Very odd
