I was told my ds has to take his 30 minutes before food or 2 horus after food, and it has to be in the evening. I am really struggling to get the timing right. IS it really important? He eats dinner about an hour before bed so can't do it before bed. I am trying to remember to do it 30 minutes before dinner, but it is so easy to forget. And sometimes we are out and about then.

How important is the timing?

my ds has been on these for about a year and i have never been told a specific time apart from in the evening.

So you give them to him around the same time as food?

well we used to get in a tizzy trying to do it the way it is meant to and we kept forgetting, we've given up and give it at bedtime.
Ds has supper at about 6-6.30 and goes to bed about 7:30-8pm.
Doesn't seem to have caused any problems .
Singulair has really really helped ds.

That is what I would like to do - give it at bedtime. But that is only 45min - 1 hour after he finishes eating so I was worried about it. The results of only 4 day son it have been miraculous so I was worried about doing anything that would upset that. However, I am getting in a tiz about the timing.

Well ds gets his about hr after supper and it still works.I think it's more important thta it gets remembered tbh .I was always forgetting it when we tried to give it an hr before eating.
