Reassurance Needed

Hello,

I gave birth to my DS 8 weeks ago. Over the past 2-3 weeks I have been experiencing pains in what I believe could be my ovaries. Could this just be everything settling down or perhaps my periods are coming back?

I am a bit of a hypochondriac, so if any can reassure me I would be very grateful.

Are you BF? Is it associated with feeding. It is perfectly normal to have period pains when feeding as it causes the uterus to contract.

Hmm, I seem to recall all sorts of twinges, but do you have a decent health visitor to ask? They will tell you if they think you should go to doc.

Thanks sexy and lio. I stopped BF about 2 weeks ago. Should my periods be starting now?

Probably another couple of weeks before AF IIRC. My periods started before I stopped feeding though so I could be wrong.
