Not had a fag since yesterday morning, sucking furiously on nicotine lozenges.
Apart from the money, please tell me some nice things along the lines of better skin etc, i need some support and am quite vain!
So anything about me looking better will help. CHEERS!

and.... you will realise that it's been days since you even thought about something which used to rule your life so much.

UCM I am giving up Monday too, with the help of a nicotine inhaler and my smoking cessation counsellor.
Am dreading it.

Can we support each other??

Freedom and a Fabulous feeling of self-control. Selecting long term wishes over instant short term gratifications. Not being emotionally maintained by presense of chemicals.

Plus all the looking better stuff...

Good for you! I found the first week really really tough. But not impossible.

I'm on day 40-something - get me! I'VE STOPPED COUNTING NOW...
1: Already people keep asking me what I've done to myself as I look ''really well''
My house is gleaming (I do something rather than have a fag)
2: I have money in my purse
3: I am much less irritable with the children (I used to get really snarly round about 4pm when I hadn't had a fag all day and was desperate to get home, get on my own and have my fag. Well, you know how kids can't bear for you to be where they are not...I would be gettingmanic, trying to slope outside for a fag and i waould bellow at them to give me some peace and quiet etc etc)
4: I can smell my perfume again
