Hi,

Anyone got any 'tried' methods of boosting your immune system. My son started f/t school in Jan & since then not 1 day has passed without him or his sisters (2 & 3) or me being ill.

I have sufferd from CFS since '99 but this improved dramtically thru the pregnancies but since archie started school my immune system has plummetted!

I had just been trying to keep the kids well, but have realised i should be concentrating on me as without me they could not cope.

I can cope with them being ill just fed up of sleep deprivation etc - only wish I had some money for shares in calpol!

so, does anyone know of anything I can do or take to stop being so succesptible ( i know its spelt wrong but frankly my dear ....) or will i always be like this?

Vick

the first year is always hell as they pick up every bug going - it does get better, I promise.

Meanwhile the first thing that springs to mind is echinacea...

am with mrs badger on the first year, they'll build up their own immunities after that and stop bringing the bugs home to you!!
great stuff echinacea also effervescent vit c and zinc good for immunity too. if you like garlic, the more you can eat, the better, maybe not for everyone around you tho!! good luck
