Glandular fever but want more blood????

My son had a test for Glandular fever last week, they have had the results back and they are asking him to do another test is is (1) Full blood count / Differential (CD)
IM screen (Pauk Bunnell) (PB)

Why would this be? does this mean he has not had Glandular fever? Having someone close who died of Non Hodgkins Lympthoma not so long back this is worrying me slightly.

Anyone?

The Paul Bunnell/IM Screen is a test for Glandular Fever so I don't think you need to be too concerned about the additional blood request. Hope your son is feeling better.

Thanks make mine a double,but why are they requesting it again, when hes already has one lot of bloods done? is it because it sometimes does not show up?
