Anyone else ever experienced loss of pubic hair! Have a 3 month old baby, could it be hormonal, not that bothered too much by it. Am not completely bald! but have lost quite a bit and it doesn't seem to be growing back!!! Really embarrassed to post this on here, I have no shame, but am curious if this has happened to any other mumsnetters.

My ds2 is six months. I don't know if I lost pubic hair because I keep it very, very short anyway. But I do remember after having ds2 that everytime I washed my hair in the shower I would be emptying the plug hole two or three times or else the water wouldn't drain because of the clumps of hair coming out. This has since settled down.

my hair head fell out loads, when it eventually started growing back it was very noticeable. i has 2 fringes, one full length, the original, which was very sparse then one very thich short fringe, the new one. the christening photos look very strange.

so i imagine other hair, including pubic does the same. i'm sure it will grow back, mine took a good 12 months.

Are you losing hair elsewhere - eg outer third of eyebrows? Hairloss can be normal but it can also indicate a thyroid imbalance, so it might be worth getting it checked out.

dont say that aloha!!! mines falling out all over the place!! including my eyebrows!!! thought it was just hormones!!

My pubic, leg and underarm hair virtually stopped growing while I was pregnant with dd. I would normally have shaved my legs daily, but only did them about once a month or so. My head hair however got really really thick and it was awful (i had thick hair to begin with). It took about 6 months for things to normalize after the birth.

oooh my hair is falling out as well (my dd was born in march) ! i fear i might be going bald soon! whilst flip & mummysurfer's comments calmed me down, aloha's scares me!

Well at least I'm not the only one. Half expected to come on here today and have no replies. All my hair is ok in other places I wish it would have fallen out on my legs too.
