How long with the Orthodontist continue to treat DD for free now her brace is off (& other questions)

DD had her brace of (at Easter I think) & has a retainer

The retainer is being checked every 3 months & the dentist has lost (yet) another orthodontist

How much more orthodontistry is necessary; could her ordinary dentist check & replace her retainer as necessary? How much more would it cost privately?

& finally (I think) her Wisdom teeth are arriving - will she need a new retainer & who will pay for that?

Should say on your contract. Usually you get a year of retainer checks eg 3 month 6 months and a year. It is usual to pay for any extra retainers but any ortho can sort that for you.
