I'm a regular but changed name due to sheer embarrasment on this subject.

All of a sudden this afternoon i had to go for a wee, literally 10 mins later i was desperate to go again... this has been happening all afternoon. I must have been 10 times in the last few hours, and its almost like i'm going to wet myself (thanks pelvic floor!) - i have to rush to get there!

There is no stinging etc until i actually stop (sorry for tmi!!!) and am worried that i could have some sort of infection? As is sods law my DH has gone away and i'm here with my 9mo.

Does anyone know what this could be, and what can cure it?

Sounds like it could be the beginning of cystitis? Is there any blood when you wee? Drinking plenty of water will help flush it out. And avoid caffeine and alcohol. If it doesn't improve soon I would see a doctor as you may need antibiotics to clear it

sounds like cystitis to me as well.

Drink lots of water, lots and lots and lots.

If you pass blood, or run a temp see a doc asap

no blood tatties, just weak wee! I'll keep drinking loads of water then.. urgh this is not good!

I know, it's horrible isn't it? Blood is a sign of infection, I think, and then you would need abs... I know you can sometimes get rid of it by just drinking lots of water but that has never worked for me...

Can anyone come and help you with your lo?

aterribleworrier · 03/02/2007 18:08

You can buy a course of 6 sachets from the chemists for it (can't remember the name - cystitus something or other.

My doctor told me to drink lemon barley water as well. Also cranberry juice?
