Hello, i think i have an onset of a migraine. I have two previously in the last twelve months. Does anyone have an idea how to make it go away or make it easier? I have taken two ibuprofen. I know i shouldnt be on the computer. But i am desperate to see if anything else works, as i have my dd to look after, and cant find anyone to have her for a couple of hours... i usually cant see properly either (that sets on a little later)

I suffer with occasional migraine's. So can sympathise. I still haven't worked out what sets them off and still haven't found anything that will stop them. I usually find I just have to let them pass on their own.

that is what i thought. I think i shall just be taking it easy.

You can try migraleve but they need to be taken early, or Immigran but not sure if this is just prescription only.

Your stomach shuts down during a migraine which is why if you catch it too late then nothing works.

Sounds gross but the only thing that worked for me was rectal Diclofenac which was marvellous

hi there....really sypathise as i get them too. Have you tried a cold wet flannel on the back of the neck??? I find this helps and also if i tilt my head right back!! Avoid chocoale or cheese as these make them worse! Migralieve are good if you can get hold of some. Failing that i find that if i cry (normally because they hurt so much!) this makes them better!!! strange but true.
Really hope you feel better soon
