My lungs hurt

I have been coughing for two weeks and the whole of my URT hurts like hell, and itches.

Should I go to the doc or will this clear up on it's own?

Not sure about the itching but if it hurts that must it might be an infection so I think maybe you should get it checked out.

I have too and have given in and rang gp today as I think I need anti biotics as I am coughing up loads(sorry) and it is not getting less more if anything Are you sleeping?

I will ring them on Monday if not better./

It is keeping me awake at night, and everyone else.

ive had this and its a pain to get rid of and when i saw the gp he said i should have rung the emergency doctors at the weekend and not waited till the monday

Have resorted to paracetamol to mask the pain - am in real misery now, and have almost stopped coughing becauser I'm not breathing properly.

Doctor tomorrow, for sure.

My gp sauid it was viral but that if the yucky stuff in your nose and throat hangs around it can become infected I hate to admit it but antibiotics have made a remarkable difference to mine.HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON XX
