What is happening to my hands?

Over the last few days my skin has been peeling from my palms in small blisters, I have been tested for hypothyroidism recently and was told that the results were borderline and to go back in three months to be tested again, I have had a quick google and peeling skin appears to be a symptom of an under active thyroid, has anyone else experienced this or could it be something else?

Can anyone help?

I can't help, but did you have an itchy red spot like rash before?
Only asking because DD went to the doctors with the rash (on the soles of her feet too). He said he didn't know what it was and took a picture to ask around his colleagues Confused. Anyway after a few more days the rash disappeared and her hands went like yours. It's cleared up I now, but the soles of her feet are still peeling a bit.

It hasn't been blistered the skin has just began to peel that's why I'm confused as to what it could be.

Have you been in the sea/salt water? Mine does exactly that when I've been sea swimming.
