I've not been on them for about 4 years now since I had the children and am considering taking them again. I'm having trouble remebering how I really felt while taking them. When I look around at pepople I know who are on them, I have the impresion that they are still pretty miserable and I worry that for me they just dull everything down including the good bits. My depression is intermittant through the month rather than constant which is why I'm wavering.
What I really want to guage is how many people are out there who take Ad's and feel normal?

Im on paroxetine and they are keeping me out of the 'blackness' by a fraction im only on 20mg a day and i dont want to up them if i can, as im happy most of the time and find hard times easier to deal with, but i am very easily sent into a 'low', something you need to remember Berrie - i few years ago i had such bad depression i was a wreck and i had no idea i had it at all, its something that never even entered my head, but after i went to the gp with problems sleeping she prescribed something and within a few short weeks i was truly a remarkebly different person, and i could instantly look back and see how dreadful i was, if you feel you may need something, go have a word with your gp, she may only prescribe mild anti-d's and only for a small amount of time - it might be all you need!
