I have been having an issue with my finger for about ten years now. Any time something touches a specific part of the nail on my ring finger, I am overcome with a pain that I can't describe.
After many, many misdiagnoses, Dr Google diagnosed me with a glomus tumour, my GP referred me to a specialist and having waited almost a year to see said specialist, he concluded that it is indeed a glomus tumour and I will need to have it removed.
Only I'm going to have to wait about a year to have it taken out as I am currently pregnant and they will be reluctant to operate when I have a newborn. The pain is getting worse - it doesn't only happen when something touches it now, but also happens randomly and I can't find anything to make the pain go away!
Has anyone had a glomus tumour before? How did you manage the pain before having it removed? I know I've managed for ten years already but it has never been as bad as it has been recently
