Threadworms...again!

Oh God, I knew something wasn't right with my 2 and here we go again, threadworms. I can't treat them until tomorrow, same with Dh and know to have scrupulous hygiene for 2 weeks after for the eggs, but I will redose after 2 weeks regardless this time I think.
Thing is I'm 38 weeks pg so can't have the medication can I, or can I? I'm planning on bf'ing and don't want to find out after the birth that the best time to take anything was now. Any help greatly appreciated, this is mortifying for me as it took 5 weeks to get rid of mine through hygiene and after 2 weeks of being clear, here we are all back to square one.
Oh God, the washing of beds & towels....Aarggh!

certainly says on packet not to take if you're pregnant but check with GP. There might be alternatives or maybe ok at your stage.

I've looked on the bnf site and it says if you take a piperazine formulation then you need to express and discard breast milk for 8 hours as it comes through the milk. Am I clutching at straws to think I could take the meds and then start feeding? Think I'll have to go to the doc's.

I thought dd might have threadworms a few months back - treated her and dh, and my OB (I was 30something weeks pregnant at the time) let me take piperazine, no problem. I trusted her, so I took it - and all was well.

I now think dd didn't have threadworms at all (think it was eczema) but know all about them, and the treatment and towel etc washing....

Good luck, wishing you stamina - its the pits having to do all that washing when very pregnant.
