ok ok i know i should go to the dentist but the thought of it just reduces me to tears.

One of my back teeth has rotted to a point where there is only one side of the tooth. The part of the tooth that is left has been throbbing since thursday. Have been taking loads of painkillers just to cope with the pain, have been telling dh thats its cos i have period pain.

I really should go to the dentist , but i have to pay and really cant afford it, just wanna cry and make it all go away.

Wurly, poor you. Go to the dentist. What could be worse than a rotting tooth and pain? The dentist needs to check that you don't have an abscess there.

Be brave! The fear of going to the dentist is far worse than the reality.

It will be worth every penny!

Not sure where you live, but near me in Hackney there is a dental hospital and you can get treatment for free. Have you checked for one locally?

Instead of painkillers, have you tried using a little bit of clove oil directly onto where it hurts? It tastes nasty but numbs it instantly.
I had the same thing years ago and had to have the tooth removed eventually. You will have to get it done soon as the pain will not go away.

ow , much sympathy (recovering from recent dental treatment here). You know you need to sort it out , it won't go away by itself Can you call NHS direct and see if there is a dental school or local emergency walk-in unit to get you more comfortable in the meantime. It may not cost as much as you fear. Goods luck. Try rinsing with Corsodyl and applying Oil of Cloves to numb it a bit.

I forgot that the pricing had changed. Check out this website, it tells you what each price bracket includes.
