I dropped a 5kg yet small in size stick of hard material from about a foot above me at work on my sternoclavicular joint at work today. Obviously it hurt at the time and there is some localised redness but as the day has gone on it is hurting more and more. I've taken co codomol 30/500 which I take anyway for a pituitary caused headache and that hasn't touched it, the pain is increasing.
My question is how long should I leave it before thinking about seeing a doctor?
