Had an antenatal appointment today (well Consultant one actually but same as seeing MW really). My blood pressure was 90/60 (was 100/60 2 weeks ago, and 110/60 at my booking in appointment).

Now while I know that low blood pressure isn't something to be particularly worried about in regards to my pg - I am concerned about any 'side effects' it may give me - am I right in thinking it can make you light headed/dizzy??? I work nights as a care assistant and am on my feet for most of the night - has anyone else been in this position and coped - is there anything I can do to make it easier on myself???

Whizz - I know, I was furious . Especially since I'm rhesus negative so any falls or knocks would have been quite serious. I wrote to them as well, specifically saying I was informing them in writing of my pregnancy for health and safety reasons and so they could carry out a risk assessment!

Whizzz/Twinklemegan - not at all unusual to not comply with that one/nominally comply while avoiding it like the plague. My work have just this week sent out the form to do it (I'm 32 weeks now) - and have still given themselves another 4 weeks to complete the assessment, and then another 4 weeks in which any resulting recommendations have to be implemented. That takes us to, lets see, 32 + 4 + 4 = 40. What a surprise!
