DS (7) has his first 2 bottom teeth wobbling but not enough to fall out... just noticed that right behind them are 2 adult teeth coming through... anyone experienced this before?
What did you do?
Thanks

I think this can be a prob as it means the adult teeth won't settle into right position. Praps see dentist. Sorry, prob not what you wanted to hear.

Very common - they will loosen all of a sudden ! Happened to ds in the August , fell out in the October.

This happened to my daughter too. The dentist wasn't concerned about it despite how far through the adult teeth were.

In time the baby teeth dropped out and the adult teeth instantly started moving forwards to fill the gap which is what he said would happen.

Same here with both dc. Ds got the 2 front bottom adult teeth fully grown and the dentist pulled his milk teeth out as they were quite wobbly so she did it when he went for a check up - he was 7 years old. Dd is now 7 and has teh same thing but the worst thing is that now both of them have their first top tooth coming behind the milk tooth and it has made the milk tooth go all goofy looking and isn't pushing it out anymore as it is growing behind.
Is this normal? I never remember having that as a child, and our teeth fell out earlier. Now it seems 9 and 10 year olds have only lost a couple of teeth.

Well update---- one of DS's wobbly teeth fell this AM when he took a large bite in a french stick! The other tooth will fall soon I suspect.
Good to hear this is normal!
Admylin - I'm sorry I don't know...

Admylin - Actually our dentist who has grown up kids told me that his son lost hist 1st tooth at 8... and that was well over 25 years ago and it said it was normal. Boys loose teeth later than girls on the whole. We once proved this on Mumsnet too.

Not a problem at all. This happened with dd and I asked the dentist who said it was quite common.

ATM ds has three front teeth! The two ault ones and one baby one wedged at a very strange angle in the middle! It makes him look like a little urchin!
