Digestive problems

DD2 seems to have a digestive problem, she
has a swollen tummy, which has been like this for about 3 months, she has had problems going to the toliet about a month ago but now she is going about 3 times a day but the stools are a funny colour and very soft, her exzema has got worse again and she is stratching her skin a lot but not where the exzema is. She looks tired all the time even though she has 12 hours sleep a night. I think she may have a gluton problem, but the consulant, that she sees because she
was premature, thinks it is because she has recently potty trained!!
Should I demand tests?
Am very worried about this

Mieow, i have no advice really, just lots of sympathy.
Both my DS's have had mild exzema, so i really feel for your poor DD.
As for the digestive problem, i too wouldn't be fobbed off. You know your DD best, and it sounds as if something isn't quite right. I would go back to the Doctors, and say that you are not leaving untill it is sorted out.

i dont know anything about digestive probs i'm afraid, but you do have the right to a second opinion. i would return to the GP and say you are not happy or convinced by the last consultants opinion and would like to see another. at the end of the day, you feel that something is not quite right and you are the best judge of your daughters health. hope its sorted for you. xx
