SO since dx with coeliac disease I've gone on to get loads of allergies.

Anyway, also since then I keep getting tummy ache. the epicentre of the pain is very high up dead centre right under the ribs. Sometimes it lasts even a couple of days.

I had salad for lunch and about 6 pm I started with this tummy ache and it is so incredibly uncomfortable. Is this likely to be a body part which is not right, or an allergy?

I get this also occasionally if I drink some wine, but not all, and it seems to be totally random.

I have spoken to both my GP and an Internist and they don't seem to have any explanation. It really hurts right now. So I haven't had any dinner cos it started hurting and so I don't feel like eating at all

Are you absolutely sure you're not glutening yourself? I have CD and get this pain when I inadvertently have gluten. Oats would do it too, malt vinegar and marmite also.

My biopsy showed it was damaged to the villi in the duodenum which fits with the location of the pain.

Sounds like gallbladder to me, I always had a dull ache which would last for hours and hours in the front of my ribs. A scan showed I had sludge in my gallbladder. I got it after dieting and I could never pinpoint what would set the pain off, it was a hit or a miss whether I would react badly.

I am extremely careful so I don't think so. Salad leaves, a hard boiled egg, tomatoes, Avacado, feta, olives and dressing and a dollop of tahini. That's all I had. And I prepared it all myself. Ate about 1. Pain started about 6. Worse now than then.

How long have you been GF for? Wondering if it could be your body still healing. Very easy to be caught out with cross contamination if gluten is still used by others in the kitchen.

Do you have a gastroenterologist? Mine suggested using separate plates, cutlery and saucepans when I had ongoing symptoms. Wasn't necessary in the end but he said its essential for some people.

No I'm fine now, after a few months of being scared to eat and dropping 3st I ended up in a&e totally ill I was told I'd get a camera down my throat and the sludge would be poked away....anyway I waited months for the appointment then one day I woke up and felt human again, I gradually started eating again and I could eat everything without pain. I'm assuming the sludge passed thru my system itself, if that's possible.
