he is sooooooooooooooooo much better in himself.

Doesn't affect the 'ultimate' outcome, but we are now looking at long time together than shorter.

He is putting on weight, no longer in pain or feeling sick, we have a real quality of life.

We are hoping to go to disney in paris in the half term ,and hollan (duinrell) at easter,

Our macmillan nurse said that when she first saw dh she thought we would be lucky to get 3 months, now, all bets are off!

Life is good girls, live it to the full.

So glad MB, hope every minute you have him is happy (or normal family stuff - Pollyanna-ish constant looking on the bright side could get a bit wearing, I guess)!

How nice to hear this today!

Thank you for telling us! That's brightened up my day

So pleased for you. You are both an inspiration I hope the good times continue for a long time.
I once worked with a lady whose mum was given 6 months max due to stomach cancer and five years later she was still having treatment and going strong - miracles do happen!

Bugsy2 · 26/01/2007 10:14

What wonderful news, MB, so much more positive than a month ago! The offer of holidaying in our house in the UK still stands, as we're not home much atm.

yoyo · 26/01/2007 14:29

Wonderful news MB. For years now I have had a postcard on my wall of Ruskin with the quote "There is no wealth but life". It is a daily reminder that life is good and should be enjoyed.

Mhamai · 26/01/2007 14:29
