Can they be benign? my best friend is having radiation treatment for ovarian and uterine cancer - 2 separate primary cancers. Anyway they were both supposed to be contained and removed and stomach washes showed no malignant stray cells but a recent ct has shown a liver lesion too small to diagnose (ct was done as lymps were not removed during surgery by mistake). Doctor has told her not to worry ( which planet is he on!) and they will repeat ct is 3 months to see if lesion has grown or not. Has anyone any words of wisdom should she be concerned - I am terrified for her.
