peter has very long fingers and toes. its something all the hospital staff comment on. stumbled across marfan syndrome. silly me.

If you are very worried ask the health workers if they can check his heart or have some genetic testing, though he might just turn out to be a brilliant pianist!xxtry not to worry tooo much xx

peter is my husband. he has heart problems.

I don't really know anything about Marfan syndrome, but did teach a lovely pupil who had it. He was VERY tall and had a number of operations, but was generally in good health.

Misdee, I'd have thought that with Petes heart condition they would have spotted if he had Marfans....heart probs being a potential problem, they will have seen a marfan's patient before IYSWIM

And don't panic anyway, since marfan's is a very variable condition evern within an affected family.

So don't worry, and don't worry.

I'd be so surprised if they had not spotted this misdee, but it does occasionally get missed so I would mention it just in case.

they do comment on his hands and feet every time he goes in. but i think they are just concentrating on the DCM and getting that undercontrol. and his height is a problem.

he does have strnage hands though lol. we always joke about them as his fingers are so skinny, his ring size is smaller than mine which made great fun on our wedding day with rings
