Dry Spotty Skin

Hi,

My 6 week old son has really dry spotty skin on his face. The HV says it is a heat rash and to use sudocream or vaseline. Neither are working and it is getting worse. Does anyone have any suggestions of what else I can use?

ARe you sure it's a heat rash - it could just be baby acne which a lot of babies get, and that goes away on it's own in most cases, without needing anything on it.
