Eczema/fungus/something on left foot

It started off as a load of dry old skin between the toes and then a few red lumps and now half the toes of my foot are red and sore and peeling. I've managed it with over the counter hydrocortisone but it's barely calmed it.

I really don't have time to attend the GP so I'm hoping for a telephone consultation (which they sometimes offer) but I'm wondering if I could send them a pic of my foot?! It would help, wouldn't it!

Athletes foot? A steroid cream alone won't fix it - you'll need an antifungal cream available from the pharmacy if it is.

Dry carefully after washing and try tea tree oil or surgical spirit, beware though the spirit will sting like hell if/when you do apply it. It will take a good few days to clear up
