Yellow mucous?

Sorry, this is a bit gross for this time in the morning! My nose is "dripping" a bright yellow, very watery "mucous". It's not constantly running, only once in a while (only done it once so far today), but it's the colour that's worrying me. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

colour of mucus indicates illness - yellow means some sort of bug, so does green and bright orange indicates an infection needing antibiotics (in my experience anyway...)

hope you feel better soon!!

I get this when my sinus are playing up....drip drip drip...and is an amber colour...I was not concerned as after a few days it clears up..I just thought it was cos my sinus's where blocked and this was cos I had a cold!!!.....hth

Thanks. Seems to be OK today - think it might be sinus related.
