Eye pain

DD (3) keeps complaining of a pain in the eye. Nothing there and she doesnt try to rub it at all. I've taken her to the GPs who said it's fine. She still complains sometimes and cries out in pain every so often.

Any ideas?

could it be the start of a migraine?

No idea. It's been ongoing now for a few days.

is it behind the eye or above the eye? does the eye look normal in light? can she tolerate the light?

She says it's her eye that is hurting and just points at her eye. It's not a constant thing. no problem with light.

GP looked at her eye and said looks okay.

sound like eyestrain to me (my whole family have eye related probs) have you taken her to an opticians?

Thanks. I was thinking about going to the opticians if she complains once more.
