How often does HV visit when its your 2nd child?

DD2 is 5 1/2 weeks and HV has only come once - is this standard procedure?

If you seem as though you're coping will they wait for you to go to weekly clinic (which I haven't attended yet)?

I can remember her visiting quite a few times first time around.

Maybe it depends on the area? We've just had our 4th child, and the HV has been at least 3 times. He's 6 1/2 weeks now. She's just been for the 6 week check which was for the weight, head & length measures to compare to the birth ones.

Maybe you could just give her a ring to see when the next appt. is? My HV would set up the next meeting while she was with me.
