Fit to Fly cert - where, other than GP, can I get one?

We've missed our flights due to chicken pox. DS is significantly better and I expect the last pox to be scabbed over tomorrow. GP led me to believe she would issue a 'fit to fly' cert once he was scabbed over - but with the bank holiday this will be TUESDAY before we can see her, and therefore Weds before we could fly at earliest...and therefore not worth going.

Any ideas for private clinics that might give the certificate? It is this game over and I need to move thoughts to more positive things?

Depends where you are. There are some walk-in travel clinics in London and there large cities. One travel clinic at Victoria Station if that helps? Could phone them and see if they would be able to help?
