how long after a perforated eardrum can a child go swimming again?

dd has just perforated her ear drum how long will it be until she can go swimming again?

When my son perforated his ear drum we were told to wait two week and had to see the GP again to check that it had healed before we could go swimming.

Poor thing. I hope she is feeling better.

thank you. trying to work out whether it is worth booking swimming lessons for 4 weeks time.

My ds (4yrs)went a week later,but then again he doesn't put his head under yet.
