I came off in october (ie it ran out then).
I had had semi periods while on depo, maybe every 3-4 months but not a lot at any one time.
ABout 10 days after when the next one would have been due I had a fairly light average length "period"/bleed. Then about 10 days after that I had a heavier one, lasting about 5 days. Then 2 weeks later I had the period from hell... it lasted just over 2 weeks. It got heavier at the end - the last 5 days - (which I am sort of thinking was the start of a more "proper" period if that makes any sense. NOw, yesterday 31 days after that heavier bleed started I came on again.
For me this is positive cos as we are ttc #2 The return of a cycle is promising.
NO tips, but just thought you might find my experience useful (although reading back, god knows why i felt the need to write all about my menstrual pattern of the last 3 months )
