chicken pox???

my ds has red spots all over his belly and back,legs and arms.(started on belly and bsack).since lastnight,how can i tell what it is?im assuming its chicken pox as local school had it recently.my older 2 have had it but i cant remember and ive looked at a couple of pics but cant really tell.

ok now my mums just been and said doesnt look like chicken pox.any rash experts?

It could be sweat rash or an allergic reaction. Wait and see if the spots keep coming or if they blister and scab. If you are still not sure by Monday, a dr or pharmacist will be able to tell you.

dont think sweat rash as been since early yesterday evening and i stripped him off thinking heat rash first(which would be amazing as no hot bit in house).

my ds had a rash before christmas. looked like hives then went to spots leaving skin rough to touch. Very itchy! It was a virus.
