Scared myself reading something about early signs of ovarian cancer

We have all had stomach upsets here in this house - but my last one seems to have gone on for ages - almost a week now and though it is better I am also feeling occasionally nauseous. Then I was reading today that the earliest signs of ovarian cancer are stomach bloating (don't know if the excessive amounts of wind (sorry tmi) I have had count as this), gastric upset and nausea... Plus is it normal for a bug to go round and round a family - it must be at least my second or third runny tummy in about 6 weeks.

Poor you.

The after effects of tummy bugs can linger. If the diarrhoea is offensive and persistent, a visit to the drs might be advisable.

It might be worth trying probiotics to help the gut return to normal.

Don't frighten yourself with ovarian cancer info. It's more likely that your bloating, nausea, etc is related to your recent stomach bug.

My mum died of ovarian cancer and the bloating they refer to was an absolutely huge stomach, filled with some sort of fluid (ascites? sp) .
I agree that you are probably suffering the aftereffects of the tummy bug. The kids recently had one and I didn't have any d and v but felt very sick for just over a week.

Don't read things on the internet! They just scare you. I try to stay away from medical sites.
